Studentenblog Malta: 5
Alle studenten van het Friesland College kunnen via het Ondernemerscollege & Talencentrum twee weken lang naar Malta voor een uitwisseling. Als doel wordt gesteld het bewust worden en ontwikkelen van vaardigheden die bij “ondernemend gedrag” horen. Daarnaast vragen we de studenten een blog bij te houden. Lees dus mee! Let wel, alles is in het Engels, want dat is ook een onderdeel van de opdracht @ Malta. Taalvaardigheden ontwikkelen door te doen!
Jacco: New Horizons
After the introduction we had last Monday, we started with classes at ‘MCAST School of Creative Arts’. The school was 7 kilometers from our apartment, but it took us 50 minutes to get there! It was quite easy to find the right bus, but they are almost never on time or they just do not show up. After we experienced that, we came at the school. For a ‘film/media’ related school it’s not a modern building. That was remarkable because the equipment was quite modern. They had a complete tv-studio with live control room, a total radio station and editing studios!
One of the graphic design lessons was really interesting during this week of classes. It was about Color Psychology related to films. For sure we had some of this lessons in Holland, but that was only for design. I learned the most from that!
In the meantime we’re job shadowing at a commercial and film company ‘Maka Visuals’. What we do exactly here you will read in the final blog post!
